MLK DAY OF LEARNING
Gather with participants from throughout Franklin County for this free Day of Learning to dive into principals and issues surrounding diversity, equity, inclusion, community-building, and social cohesion. The day will feature an Adult Track (grades 9 and above) and a Children/Youth Track (grades K-8th) so people of all ages can turn the MLK Day national holiday into a Day of Learning.
MLK Day of Learning is FREE for all to attend.
Adult Track
For adults of all ages and teenagers in grades 9 and above
11am-3:30pm at Central Presbyterian Church, 40 Lincoln Way W., Chambersburg, PA 17201
Includes free lunch, general session, a choice of workshops, keynote speaker, entertainment, and more.
Children/Youth Track*
For kids/youth in grades K-8th
10:45am - Adult signature required for kid/youth drop-off at Coyle Free Library, 102 N. Main St., Chambersburg, PA 17201
11am - Kids eat their BYOLunch together
11:30am-3:30pm - Kid-friendly programming including speakers, sensory activities, scavenger hunts, and more
*this track will begin at Coyle Free Library and end at Central Presbyterian Church
